The Video Game Aspect
Most video games present unlikely scenarios (to say the least!). So one way to look at GenR is as an Online Multi-player Game (OMG?🤪).
"How we the people own our power, reinvent the rules and lead the world to peace, opportunity and wellbeing for all".
Seems a bit of an unlikely scenario doesn't it?
Most video games present unlikely scenarios (to say the least!). So one way to look at GenR is as an Online Multi-player Game (OMG?🤪).
The Narrative
Imagine a country where the Powerful Few (the Few) make the governance systems (the rules) for the Powerless Many (the Many) to obey, with Armed Enforcers (the Enforcers) ensuring compliance. (You choose the country - any country at any time in the last 5,000 years will do.)
The Few are driven by desire for more power, money and domination. You, as part of the Many, have the desire of a world where those in power support peace, opportunity and wellbeing for all (POW4all).
However, that’s not happening. The gap between the Few and the Many is getting wider and the weapons available to the Enforcers are formidable - enough to extinguish all life on the planet. The future is looking dark and increasingly hopeless.
It becomes clear to the Many that they are going to have to own their power, reinvent the rules and lead the world to POW4all because nobody else will. If not them, who? If not now, when?
As they are the reinvention generation they call themselves GenR. They organize a Rising - not a violent one nor even a direct confrontation - simply a new way of citizens leading the creation and implementation of alternative governance systems that fit the knowledge and consciousness of the 21st century.
You join.
And thus you begin.
You undertake a sequence of Adventures, each with a Role you adopt, a Challenge to be met and Incentives to succeed.
As you progress, your personal power becomes greater, your confidence and influence expand and your life becomes bigger.
You quickly learn that your progress speeds up by turning the normal governance energy upside down - from fear, distrust and win-lose to love, fun together. Yes, you can actually have fun playing the game of governance!
Real life
GenR Rising is of course not a video game but real life.
The release of GenR Rising marks the moment in history when governance begins to change from from ‘top-down power over’ to ‘bottom-up power with’.
It is citizen-led system reinvention.
And it takes government of the people, for the people, by the people from a concept to a reality.
Something to think about
If we the people don’t do it, who will. And if we don’t do it now, when will we?. Are you up for adventure? Or are. you just waiting for the world to change by itself?
